Ivan Rabuzin (이반 라부진) 

Ivan Rabuzin(1929-2008) was one of the most famous representatives of the Croatian naive art.  

He completed his vocational schools in Zagreb, and at the same time he attended an evening course  

in drawing where he gained a basic knowledge of fine art.
In 1956 he had his first solo exhibition and seven years later a solo exhibition at the Paris gallery  

\\\"Mona Lisa\\\". In 1963 he left the job in the furniture factory and totally dedicated himself to painting.
 

◆ Naive Art
미술사상 어떤 유파를 지칭하는 것이 아니라 일부 작가의 작품 경향을 가리키는 말이다.  

고전적이고 아카데믹한 기법을 무시하고 primitive한 방법으로 밝은 색채를 사용, 일상적인 풍경 등의  

주제를 천진하게 표현했다. 대표적인 작가로는 프랑스의 앙리 루소, 세라핀, 루이 비뱅 등이 있고  

벨기에의 레옹 그레프, 그리스의 데오필로스, 미국의 그랜드마 모지스, 모리스 허스펠드, 조셉피케트  

등이 있다.
